Claymates
If you ever watched cartoons from the 1980s or the 1960s, and loved claymation, this is kind of a fun book to read. The two main characters are lumps of different colored clay and the illustrations are all photos of different stages of the clay being made into different objects or animals. It is an optimistic, energetic and somewhat humorous story that has a hint of you can do anything or be anything behind it.
Cautions: The only cautions we have are at one point grey clay loses his trunk (which might be a little traumatic for a little little one that does not understand what clay and make believe are) and my little one thought it was really weird that at one point grey clay only has one eye.
