How Rocket Learned to Read
There are two types of books we enjoy. We really like the ones that have an emotional impact and teach a solid character lesson. We also really like ones that have an opportunity to teach.
This one falls in the latter category. A little bird tries to teach a puppy to read. There’s pages with the alphabet. There’s multiple places the puppy spells out words. And the story walks through the seasons. We talked about all three.
Cautions: None! Overall it’s cute puppy that wants to learn and hear a story who in the process makes friends with a slightly pushy yet sweet bird.
